Meritor® Tire Inflation System by P.S.I. Receives 2003 Intermodal Achievement Award

TROY, Mich., (Nov. 17, 2003) ArvinMeritor, Inc. (NYSE:ARM) today announced that its Meritor® Tire Inflation System by P.S.I. has been recognized by the Intermodal Association of North America (IANA).  Pressure Systems International, Inc. (P.S.I.) received IANA’s 2003 Intermodal Achievement Award for the product, which was developed in conjunction with ArvinMeritor, and is actively marketed by ArvinMeritor’s global sales force.
 
The Meritor Tire Inflation System (MTIS) by P.S.I. automatically monitors and maintains proper tire inflation on commercial vehicle trailers.  Product benefits include: increased tire life, better fuel economy, less trailer downtime, increased safety, reduced trailer damage and more on-time deliveries. It is available with a complete range of axle, brake and wheel-end solutions.
