LAS VEGAS, Nev., (Nov. 4,
2003) — ArvinMeritor’s Purolator®
product line has been named 2002 Vendor of the Year by Grease Monkey
International Inc. (GMI).
Grease Monkey International Inc. is one of the
nation’s largest franchisers of vehicle preventive maintenance centers, with
more than 220 centers operating in the United States and Mexico.
Purolator received the award for its quality
products and outstanding service. To select the winner, GMI sent out
surveys to all of its franchisees across the country. Purolator has been
serving the GMI system since it began in 1978 with oil and air filter
products.

Grease Monkey centers provide preventive
maintenance services that meet manufacturers’ recommendations for most vehicle
makes and models. Every full service oil change includes new oil and
filter, a check and fill of major fluids, tire pressure check and set, interior vacuum and exterior window
wash. In addition, Grease Monkey provides transmission service, air
filters, and fluids for power steering, batteries, windshields, differentials,
and radiators.
