2003) — ArvinMeritor, Inc.
(NYSE:ARM) today announced that 89 ArvinMeritor employees
received patents in 2002. Those individuals were honored during the company’s
annual Patent Awards Ceremony held at ArvinMeritor headquarters in Troy, Mich.,
on Feb. 27, 2003.
The awards recognize those individuals who have
made substantial engineering contributions to ArvinMeritor through the company’s
patent innovation process.
New ArvinMeritor patents include dozens of
inventions affecting commercial and light vehicle systems. The patents granted
cover a range of application areas, from a multi-unit articulated road train
propulsion system to a brake assembly with an air cooling system.
