TROY, Mich. (Sept. 24, 2008) — ArvinMeritor, Inc. (NYSE: ARM) announced today that it has appointed Craig Cartmill
to the position of general manager for its Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket (CVA)
operations worldwide. Craig will be responsible for leading global operations
for CVA and strategic deployment of lean principles.

basis over the last three years – both organically and through strategic
acquisitions in North America and Europe. With
Craig’s strong background, he will lead efforts to advance our
distribution footprint, logistics, business systems and supply chain in the
coming years.”
Prior to joining ArvinMeritor, Craig spent 27 years with Daimler Trucks North
America. Most recently, he was director of Parts Distribution Operations where
he managed ten parts distribution centers for Freightliner, Detroit Diesel and
Mitsubishi FUSO. Under his direction, the organization received awards for
dealer satisfaction involving supply chain, as well as corporate recognition of
quality systems.
Craig also served as vice president of Customer Support and Service, as well as
the director of Worldwide Parts Distribution for Detroit Diesel Corporation. He
holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Operations and Marketing
Management from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
