ArvinMeritor’s Wheels Team Receives Chrysler Group Gold Award for Outstanding 2005 Performance
TROY, Mich. (June 26, 2006) —
ArvinMeritor, Inc.’s (NYSE: ARM) Light Vehicle Systems (LVS)
business group announced today that its steel wheels team received a Chrysler
Group Gold Award for outstanding performance in 2005. This designation places
ArvinMeritor among the highest-rated suppliers to the Chrysler
Group.
With locations in Limeira, São Paulo, Brazil; San Luis Potosí,
Mexico; and Detroit, Mich., U.S., the Wheels business unit supplied five million
steel wheels to DaimlerChrysler’s Chrysler Group in 2005, including wheels for
many of its popular Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep models.
