Pedro Ferro is vice president and general manager, Commercial Vehicle Emissions and Specialty Products, for ArvinMeritor’s Commercial Vehicle Systems (CVS) group. In this position, he is responsible for the overall strategic management and direction of the company’s commercial vehicle emissions, bus and coach, specialty vehicle, and government product lines.

Ferro joined ArvinMeritor in 2001, from a position as executive vice president of sales, marketing and distribution, with Motor Coach Industries. Prior to that, he was director of federal marketing for Dell Computer. From 1985 until 1995, Ferro held leadership positions of increasing responsibility with Cummins, Inc., including vice president of corporate information products business; director of sales and marketing, for Cummins, Mexico; and area director for Cummins, Latin America.

With an advanced degree in distribution and logistics from Instituto de Engenharia in Maua, Brazil, Ferro also holds a degree in industrial administration from FCAV-University of Sao Paulo. He earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia Industrial (FEI) and is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
