ArvinMeritor's FDP Group Assists Detroit Charity Event

On May 5, ArvinMeritor's Financial Development Program (FDP) donated its time and efforts toward the Make-A-Wish Foundation's fundraising event at the Detroit Zoo in Detroit Michigan, USA, called Walk for Wishes. The event, which included nearly 700 individuals on a 5-kilometer walk through the zoo grounds, raised funds for the well-known charity which grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions. This event helped 36 youngsters. The team raised nearly $1,500, beating its original goal by $500. The FDP, which believes in supporting the Detroit community while building strong team unity, volunteers for similar charity projects, such as Gleaner's Food Distribution Center in Detroit which distributes food to the homeless.
